Perfect, Happy Dogs!

Our Classes

All classes meet on Monday evenings. A puppy and a basic class are offered from 6:30pm until 7:45pm. An additional basic class is offered from 7:15pm until 8:30pm.

Puppy Class: This class includes puppies from 8 weeks of age through 4 months of age. We teach puppies with completely inducive methods using food, fun and praise! Puppies learn to sit, walk nicely on leash, come when called and lay down. Puppies socialize with each other as well as other students and learn to play constructively and with confidence. We teach puppies to enjoy handling, nail clipping and grooming. This class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long and runs for 7 weeks. As does our Basic class, puppy class includes a 30 minute lecture/question and answer session each week. This class is limited to 10 students.

The Basics Class: This class is for dogs five months old and up either without previous training or who have been through a puppy class. In this class, we teach sit, heel, down, stay and come when call and add some responsibility to the older dog by teaching them that there will be a consequence for disobedience, thereby creating effort and reliability in each dog. This builds confidence in the dog and works towards a happy, secure, confident dog. Each class is 1  hour and 15 minutes long and includes a lecture/question and answer session. This class runs for 7 weeks. This class is limited to 12 students.

after completion of The Basics Class, you may select the advanced class below:

NOTE: advanced class will be held when we reach the 8 student minimum. Please see Andrea after completion of basic class.

Advanced Class: Once you have completed The Basics class, you may register for advanced class. In this class we develop skills to get your dogs reliable OFF LEASH! The class is 1 hour long and runs for 7 weeks.
